About Steve
Steve is a North Carolina native. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. From 1978 until 1981, he was a Claim Representative with Kemper Insurance Companies where he managed workers’ compensation claims in North and South Carolina. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of the South Carolina Law Review. He has practiced workers’ compensation law exclusively since 1984. Steve lives in Charlotte with his wife and family.
